2) What we collect

We collect: (a) information you provide (contact details; property info; messages via forms, Seymour chat, and Facebook Messenger; audit photos/notes; booking/invoice details—no card storage by us), (b) device/usage data (IP, browser, pages, timestamps, approximate location, cookies), and (c) basic derived chat signals (intent/sentiment/lead score and conversation analytics).

3) Where we get your data

From you (forms, email, phone, chat/Messenger), from your device (cookies/analytics), and from platforms you use to contact us (e.g., Facebook provides a Page-Scoped ID).

4) How we use your data & lawful bases

• Provide & improve services (quotes, bookings, prefill forms, inspections, reports) – Contract/Legitimate Interests

5) Seymour (Chat Assistant)

Seymour processes your messages to answer questions, provide quotes, book/free-audit appointments, and improve the experience. We derive light intent/sentiment and a simple lead score to prioritise human follow-up; we don’t make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Third-party processors: Wix (hosting/CMS), AI provider (to draft replies—only what’s needed is sent; we instruct no training on your data where possible), Meta (if you use Facebook Messenger), SerpAPI (only when you ask us to “search …”).

6) Cookies & similar tech

We use necessary cookies and analytics; the chat may use session storage/cookies. You can control cookies in your browser; blocking some may impact features.

7) Sharing your data

We don’t sell data. We share with trusted providers (hosting/CMS, AI reply provider, analytics/email/cloud, payments, Meta for Messenger) under contracts that limit their use, and where required by law.

8) International transfers

Where providers process data outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK Addendum/SCCs).

9) Retention

• Chat enquiries & conversation analytics: up to 24 months after last interaction

• Leads/quotes & booking records: up to 6 years

• Audit photos & reports: 12–24 months (or longer if legally required)

• Marketing lists: until you unsubscribe (we keep a minimal suppression record)

10) Your rights

Access, correct, delete, restrict/object, portability, and withdraw consent where applicable. - see here

11) Children

Services target adults/businesses; we don’t knowingly collect data from under-16s.
